Quantity Surveyor / Trainee Quantity Surveyor
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced /Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. As a Quantity Surveyor/Trainee Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management for construction projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.
- Analyzing project specifications and drawings to accurately determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Monitoring project costs and budgets throughout the construction process, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or variances.
- Conducting regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and specifications.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to optimize project costs and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/Diploma or following a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
