Description
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Assistant Manager – Performance Management & Strategy to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the business unit’s strategy, ensuring performance excellence, and optimizing financial outcomes. You will collaborate with senior leadership, oversee key projects, manage budgets, and deliver actionable insights through data-driven decision-making
The Job:
- Partner with senior leadership to define and execute long-term strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and SWOT assessments to guide strategy.
- Translate organizational goals into measurable KPIs and monitor performance trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and report mechanisms for real-time visibility.
- Lead performance review meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
- Act as Scrum Master, managing Kanban boards and improving Agile maturity.
- Identify, prioritize, and manage key projects to achieve business unit goals.
- Monitor Opex/CAPEX budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and ROI.
- Implement cost rescaling strategies and prepare financial performance reports.
- Serve as the centralized SPOC for Tableau dashboards and data-driven initiatives.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis, visualization, and hypothesis testing to support decision-making.
The Person:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Analytics, or Statistics.
- Professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in analyzing financial statements and market reports.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience handling complex datasets.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
