Food Service Manager | Kiribathgoda
Job Overview
The Food Service Manager is responsible for growing Flora Food Group's business by acquiring new customers, servicing existing outlets, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory.
The role focuses on building strong relationships with bakeries, restaurants, hotels, cafés and other food service operators, ensuring product availability, increasing outlet coverage and driving consistent sales growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
New Customer Acquisition
- Identify and open new Food Service customers.
- Increase outlet coverage within the assigned territory.
- Build a healthy pipeline of potential customers.
Sales Growth
- Achieve monthly sales and volume targets.
- Increase sales from existing customers.
- Drive product penetration within active outlets.
Customer Relationships
- Build strong relationships with owners, chefs and purchasing personnel.
- Respond to customer needs promptly.
- Resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Market Execution
- Ensure availability of Flora Food Group products at customer outlets.
- Support promotions, launches and trade activities.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
Territory Management
- Follow an agreed journey plan.
- Maintain customer records and sales reports.
- Provide accurate market and customer information.
Digital Adoption
- Encourage customers to order through approved digital channels and WhatsApp ordering platforms.
- Support customer onboarding where applicable.

PERSONAL PROFILE
Education
- G.C.E. O/L or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Previous sales experience is an advantage.
- FMCG, Food Service or Distribution experience preferred.
Skills
- Good communication skills.
- Relationship building ability.
- Self-motivated and target driven.
- Basic numerical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Additional Requirements
- Valid riding or driving licence preferred.
