We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Management Accountant to join our factory operations team and play a key role in driving financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial performance reports.
- Lead the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.
- Conduct investment appraisals, product costing, profitability analysis, and margin optimization initiatives.
- Drive cost control and cost optimization programs across manufacturing operations.
- Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support business objectives.
- Manage and oversee export logistics, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure effective inventory management, stock controls, procurement processes, and supply chain efficiency.
- Review and authorize supplier payments in accordance with company policies and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports, board papers, presentations, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance ERP systems, strengthen internal controls, and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to the factory finance and stores teams.
Job Requirements
- Candidate should be fully qualified or part qualified in CA/CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the manufacturing OR Construction sector. Holding an accounting or similar degree in a recognized university will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, costing, inventory management, and financial analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP experience will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Age below 30 years is preferred.
