We’re a fast-growing e-commerce and distribution business powering multiple online stores across Sri Lanka. We process high daily order volumes, move fast, and solve problems quickly.
We’re looking for someone who is a detail-oriented Finance & Operations Executive to handle daily reconciliations, supplier payments, purchasing coordination, and profitability tracking, working closely with management.
What You'll Own
Finance & Reconciliation:
- Reconcile receipts, settlements, commissions, and deductions against sales and bank statements.
- Match supplier invoices against GRNs and payments; catch errors before they become problems.
- Own supplier payment schedules and payable tracking.
- Keep bank records clean and flag mismatches immediately.
- Support basic management accounts and cash records.
Profitability & Reporting:
- Track daily revenue, margins, CPOs, and cost movements.
- Build simple summaries that tell leadership what's actually happening
- Spot unusual costs, missing receipts, or commission/penalty issues before they pile up
Purchasing & Suppliers:
- Drive purchasing based on stock and sales movement
- Source quotes, compare suppliers, negotiate better terms
- Maintain supplier records and chase pending invoices/credit notes
Who Will Thrive Here
- You catch your own mistakes before anyone has to point them out
- You're extremely fast with Sheets/Excel and don't need hand-holding on formulas and data analysis
- You like clean records more than you like being told what to do
Must-Haves
- 1–3 years in accounts, bookkeeping, or e-commerce ops (strong fresh grads are also welcome)
- Mandatory: Strong Excel/Google Sheets knowledge. Comfortable with advanced formulas, pivot tables, large datasets etc.
Bonus Points
- Ecommerce experience
- CA/AAT/CIMA/ACCA in progress
