SAP Consultant - Finance & Controlling
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Management.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO.
- S/4HANA exposure preferred.
- Experience preparing functional specs, testing, and supporting CRs.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data and optimise SAP processes.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, improve, and enhance SAP FICO configurations and financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day SAP FICO support, issue analysis and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with business users to gather requirements and prepare clear functional specs.
- Support testing cycles (unit testing, UAT) and manage defect resolution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, PP, etc.) to ensure smooth process integration.
- Assist in FICO process areas including GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Costing, and Profit Centre Accounting.
- Monitor ticketing, maintain documentation, and ensure SLA compliance.
Core Technical Skills
- SAP S/4 HANA - Finance & Controlling (FICO).
- Understanding of financial workflows, system integration points, and configuration best practices.
