Barista Trainer / Instructor

Colombo Academy of Hospitality Management (Pvt) Ltd. in partnership with William Angliss Institute (RTO No.3045), Australia, is the largest private specialised training center for Hospitality, Foods, Events, and Tourism in Sri Lanka. We are located within the SLIIT Main Campus in Malabe, Sri Lanka.
JOB PROFILE
- Conduct hand-on experience training sessions for students enrolled in Coffee courses.
- Teach fundamental and advanced barista skills, including coffee brewing, espresso preparation and other related skills.
- Develop and update training material and curriculum to meet industry standards and ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students.
- Maintain high standards of quality in the delivery of training programs.
- Implementation evaluation methods to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies if needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience as a professional barista with a strong track record of excellence.
- Experience in training teaching or teaching is an advantage.
- A relevant trade certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- A passion for coffee and a genuine interest in imparting knowledge to others.
