Shades Fashion is a growing apparel and lifestyle fashion destination offering stylish clothing for women, men, and kids along with lifestyle essentials to customers across Colombo.
We are looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Digital Marketing & Content Associate to manage and develop our overall marketing presence. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, working with fashion products, and managing social media from planning through execution.
As this will be a new position within our company, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop our digital marketing strategy, establish content processes, and help shape the online identity of Shades Fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s social media pages, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar.
- Create engaging content such as product photos, videos, reels, stories, promotional posts, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Photograph clothing, accessories, store displays, events, staff activities, and promotional campaigns.
- Edit photos and videos to ensure that all content is professional, attractive, and consistent with the Shades Fashion brand.
- Respond to social media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Follow current fashion, social media, and digital marketing trends.
- Visit other Shades Fashion showrooms or locations when necessary for content creation and marketing activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, photography, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and current social media trends.
- Ability to take high-quality photos and videos using a camera or smartphone.
- Experience editing photos and videos using editing software.
- Ability to plan, organize, and manage several campaigns and responsibilities at the same time.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel between company locations when required.
- A qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Media, Photography, Graphic Design, or a related field would be an advantage.
