Project Development Manager - Tourism
Specialization - Tourism Development
Experience - Minimum 7 years in tourism project development and business development
Language Requirement: Must be very fluent in English (spoken and written) — essential for all positions
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven track record of identifying and developing successful tourism projects
- Strong understanding of market analysis, feasibility studies, and business plans
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Experience in South Asian markets, particularly Maldives or Sri Lanka, is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate tourism development opportunities in target markets
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility and market viability studies
- Develop detailed project proposals and business plans for senior leadership
- Coordinate with government agencies, local authorities, and development partners
- Manage project development from concept through implementation
- Monitor project performance and deliver regular reports to management
