JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the smooth functioning of the Gold Loan business and achieving the business targets assigned by the Management. Acts as the Officer in Charge (OIC) regarding operational authorization while monitoring gold loan performance to increase advances growth and maintain portfolio quality
JOB PROFILE
- Arranging promotional campaigns in order to develop the business and achieve assigned targets.
- Monitoring gold loan performance and making required arrangements to increase the advances growth and portfolio.
- Authorizing advances by certifying the quality, karatage, and amount of gold articles prior to disbursement.
- Acting as the custodian of gold articles; ensuring they are stored safely in the main vault and managing the release of articles at settlement.
- Supervising all employees at the centre and managing the branch operations in a secured manner.
- Reconciling details of pawned articles against the & Pawn Article Register & and physical stock to ensure accuracy
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Passed GCE (A/L) Examination.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of pawning/gold financing experience in a recognized financial environment, with exposure to supervisory duties.
- Knowledge of the evaluation of gold content and the ability to identify fake and dud gold is essential.
- Expert knowledge in gold assessment, operational guidelines, and risk management.
- Strong communication and Negotiation Skills
- Being assertive, influential, and persuasive with strong leadership skill
