Assistant Electrical Engineer | Colombo 02

Location: Union Place, Colombo 02
Position : Full-Time
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in designing and developing electrical systems for solar energy projects.
- Support senior engineers in technical calculations including load analysis, Energy yield, and system sizing.
- Participate in site visits, surveys, and system inspections.
- Help ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Contribute to documentation, BOQ preparation, and technical drawings.
- Assist in quality assurance testing and commissioning activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- 1-2 years of experience or training in the solar energy or electrical field.
- Basic understanding of solar PV systems and electrical components.
- Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD is an advantage.
- Good analytical, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under guidance with a proactive mindset.
