Responsibilities
- Technical Support: Provide first-level technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues promptly.
- System Administration: Assist in the administration and maintenance of operating systems, databases, and software applications.
- Network Management: Support the management and maintenance of the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- IT Security: Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect company data and systems from cyber threats.
- Hardware and Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Stock Management: Maintain and monitor IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and related equipment.
- Ensure proper tracking, documentation, and timely replenishment of IT stock.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on IT systems and best practices.
- Project Assistance: Assist in IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and effective completion.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot IT issues.
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
