As a Relationship Manager Deposit Mobilizations, you will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening the organization's deposit operations, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth of the deposit portfolio. This role involves managing end-to-end deposit processes, improving service delivery, implementing operational controls, and supporting branch teams to achieve deposit-related KPIs.You will report directly to the Head of Deposits and be part of a dynamic team within the non-banking financial services sector. THE JOB ROLE
- Oversee and manage end-to-end deposit operations across branches to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Develop & implement operational strategies to grow & retain the deposit portfolio in line with organizational targets.
- Ensure all deposit products, processes, & documentation comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Monitor operational risks, identify gaps, and implement controls to mitigate operational and compliance risks.
- Work closely with branch managers and operational teams to improve turnaround times and customer experience.
- Review and enhance operational processes, systems, and controls to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
- Handle escalations, customer complaints, and operational exceptions related to deposit operations.
- Prepare operational reports, MIS, and performance updates for senior management.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in deposit operations within a Bank or Non-Banking Financial Institution.
- Strong knowledge of deposit products, operational workflows, regulatory guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage teams, workflows, and multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Computer literacy with a strong command of MS Office applications and core banking systems.
