Mechanical Design Engineer- Generator Installations
Trade Promoters Pvt Limited (TPL) is looking for a capable and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of generator installation projects.
This role is ideal for a mechanically strong engineer with experience in industrial, MEP, or power-related projects, and a keen interest in generator systems, cooling, ventilation, and fuel system design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical designs for generator installations, including fuel, exhaust, ventilation, and cooling systems
- Design and coordinate engine cooling systems such as radiators, remote radiators, and heat exchanger-based systems
- Support BOQ/BOM preparation during tender stage
- Produce and coordinate IFC drawings with drafting teams
- Support fabrication, installation, and commissioning by resolving technical queries
- Ensure designs are practical, maintainable, and compliant with project requirements
- Contribute to standardizing recurring design elements for better project efficiency
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial, MEP, or power-related projects
- Experience in generator installations, fuel systems, exhaust systems, ventilation, and cooling systems will be a strong advantage
- Fluent with AutoCAD and MS Excel. Revit/BIM knowledge is an added advantage
- Strong coordination skills with project teams, workshop fabrication, and site teams
