Intern - Design and Development of Packaging | Colombo
Dipped Products PLC seeks a dynamic, results-oriented individual to be recruited as Intern - Design and Development of Packaging to be based at Head office - Colombo.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and procurement of packaging materials
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for material specifications
- Support packaging design and development projects
- Assist in testing, evaluation, and improvement of packaging materials
- Help maintain documentation related to materials, costs, and specifications
- Support cost reduction and sustainability initiatives
Candidate Profile
- University undergraduates (final year preferred) or fresh graduates
- Educational background in Packaging Technology, Materials Science, Supply Chain, or related fields
- Basic understanding of packaging materials (paper, plastic, metal, etc.) and graphic designing is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and basic documentation
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
