Assistant - Warehouse
Purpose:
To support daily warehouse operations by performing receiving, picking, packing, loading, labeling, sorting, and housekeeping activities while ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, product quality, and compliance with warehouse procedures and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving and unloading of inbound shipments.
- Verify received quantities and product conditions against supporting documents.
- Perform order picking according to picking instructions and customer requirements.
- Carry out packing activities in accordance with customer specifications and SOPs.
- Assist loading operations to ensure timely dispatch of customer orders.
- Perform product labeling, barcode application, and identification activities.
- Sort products according to customer, product type, batch, or operational requirements.
- Support stock transfers and inventory verification activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards within assigned work areas.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Report damaged products, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues to supervisors.
- Support value-added services (VAS) such as relabeling, repacking, kitting, and promotional packing when required.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock take activities.
