Accounts Executive | Head Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensure timely recording of accounting transactions.
- Prepare related party transaction schedules and support the preparation of Board papers relating to related party transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
- Prepare and reconcile assigned balance sheet schedules.
- Maintain employee loan and staff-related accounting records.
- Coordinate payroll information and support the monthly salary preparation process.
- Ensure timely processing of statutory payments and returns including EPF, ETF, APIT, and other regulatory obligations.
Candidate Profile:
- Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, or ACCA.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, payroll processes, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems (SAP experience will be an added advantage).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict reporting deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
