Senior Accounts Officer - Finance
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation and review of Annual Financial Statements, Interim Financial Statements, and Annual Report.
- Review of Monthly Management Accounts and other regulatory reports (e.g., Central Bank of Sri Lanka - CBSL, etc.)
- Prepare and review of SLFRS (Sri Lanka Financial Reporting Standards) impact assessments (e.g., ECL computations for Loans and Advances – collective and individual impairment, and other asset classes).
- Prepare and review Monthly Business Profitability reports to the management.
- Contribute to finance-related system developments and ensure timely update the policies related to financial reporting.
- Prepare and review MIS reports as required by internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Business Units, IRD, CBSL, Internal and External Auditors).
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the management
The Person
- Minimum 5 years of experience in banking at least 3 years in Financial Reporting
- Successful completion of CA Sri Lanka Corporate Level.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command in both oral and written English.
- Strong coordinating and leadership skills.
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and complete assignments within the stipulated time frames
