As an Executive / Senior Executive - Gold Loan Operations, you will be responsible for accurately evaluating gold articles, providing fair disbursements, achieving business targets, and ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations. The role also involves promoting the company's gold loan services through marketing initiatives and business development efforts. You will report directly to the Senior Manager - Gold Loan Operations and be part of a dynamic team of professionals in the Non-Banking Financial Services sector. The ideal candidates should possess the following profile:
THE JOB ROLE
- Participate in internal and external Gold Loan business awareness, promotions, and related activities.
- Execute duties assigned by the Head Office Gold Loan Department on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis.
- Supervise branch operations and ensure completion of daily end-of-day tasks.
- Monitor and maintain branch-level Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and overdue accounts.
- Loans (NPL) and overdik accounts.
- Follow up on auction processes and ensure timely execution as per guidelines.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports (Compliance Report, AML Report, Positive Assurance Framework, etc.).
- Support branches in achieving their overall business and sales targets.
- Promote cross-selling of financial products and services to existing and new customers.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent professional qualification in Business Administration, Finance, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, or a related field from a recognized university or institute.
- Professional certifications or diplomas in Banking, Credit Management, or Financial Services will be an added advantage.
- Possess minimum 02 years of experience in Executive/ Senior Executive grades and handled similar job functions (preferably in Finance / Banking Industry).
- A sound knowledge in identification and assessment of the gold articles, sound knowledge in entire gold loan operations and procedures, lending, financial products, Credit Evaluation, Business Development, Market insights.
- Competency in MS Office package/computer systems.
- Good Communication skills in both Sinhala & English and the ability to communicate in Tamil will be an advantage.
