The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of automotive spare parts, tools, accessories, and consumables. This role requires maintaining optimum stock levels, supporting workshop operations through timely issuance of parts, and ensuring that inventory records are accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, a good understanding of automotive spare parts, and a commitment to maintaining an efficient and well-organized store.

Job Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming automotive spare parts, tools, accessories, and consumables against purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Store materials systematically to ensure easy identification, accessibility, and safe handling.
  • Issue spare parts and materials to workshop personnel and other departments against authorised requisitions. 
  • Maintain accurate stock records and update all inventory transactions in the inventory management system.
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and annual stock counts and assist with inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Identify slow-moving, obsolete, and damaged stock and report findings to management.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards are maintained within the store.
  • Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, procurement staff, and workshop teams to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control procedures, and health and safety standards.

Candidate Profile
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Store Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the automobile or automotive spare parts industry.
  • Good knowledge of automotive spare parts and inventory management practices.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational, numerical, and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
