Assistant Retail Manager (Male) | Colombo 05 / Wattala

We’re looking for a driven, hands-on Assistant Retail Manager to support and strengthen operations across our Colombo 05 and Wattala outlets.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day operations across both outlets to ensure smooth, efficient store performance
- Drive sales targets and support the team in achieving monthly goals
- Lead by example on the floor, delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Manage and motivate store teams to maintain high energy and performance
- Oversee stock movement, transfers, and inventory accuracy across outlets
- Coordinate closely with warehouse and online teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation align with Joey standards
- Take responsibility for accurate processing of all transactions (cash & card) and ensure proper reconciliation
- Ensure accurate system entries for sales, stock movements, and daily operations
- Step in and take ownership in the absence of the Retail Manager
What We’re Looking For
- 1–3 years experience in retail (fashion retail preferred)
- Strong people management and communication skills
- A sales-driven mindset with the ability to take initiative
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple locations and flexible shifts
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment
