Quantity Surveyor (Contract Basis)
We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual aspects of elevator and escalator installation projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract administration, and project support.
What You'll Do
- Manage project costs and commercial activities to ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Prepare and submit Interim Payment Applications (IPA) and monitor payment progress.
- Process subcontractor bills while maintaining effective management with the subcontractors.
- Administer contracts, evaluate variations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports, and commercial documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, measurement standards, and payment procedures.
- Minimum 3 to 7 years of experience in Quantity Surveying for MEP projects.
- Experience in elevator and escalator installation projects will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of MEP quantity surveying practices and commercial management.
- Proficiency in measurement, valuation, cost reporting, and quantity surveying software.
- Effective understanding of elevator and escalator installation scope and interfaces.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.
