Compliance Officer

Purpose:
  • This role is responsible for the day to day administration duties associated with upkeep of the documentation for the Recruitment of the Agency Staff and assisting the OM with administration where required.

Responsibility:
This role is responsible for the following outcomes / criteria:
  • Processing of Recruitment documentation of applicants not yet employed
  • Keeping all Member data up to date and accurate including verifying information from original sources
  • Review of Member data files and ensuring they follow required Compliance policies including Mandatory checks
  • Direct communication with Members regarding updates and information outstanding
  • Ensure all Members are aware of new and changing policies of the Company 
  • Coordination of reporting channels for Compliance related processes and communication of same through the business
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the business’s management systems by reviewing and updating policies and procedure documents for CBNA along with the development of new policies
  • Administration tasks as allocated by OM
Authorities:
  • The position has the following limitations with respect to their role in the business:
  • To conduct internal audits on the Member Data files and to raise action requests as required
  • To recommend changes to procedures or forms or practices
Competencies:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with agency staff;
  • Experienced in management systems - development and maintenance
  • Ability to modify and maintain system Database with accuracy and efficiency 
  • Have a positive and constructive approach when dealing with others
Accountability:
  • The CO will be held accountable for the timely update of detailed information on the Recruitment Candidates and the subsequent compliance management of the Member information.
  • Key Performance Indicators will be defined, and annual performance will be measured against. 
Key outcomes include:
  • Timely entering of data required by the Recruitment Officer to efficiently process applicants
  • Accuracy of ongoing member Data files
  • Specific tasks as set time to time by the OM

Remuneration Package: 
The position is available as a permanent role with conditions / terms being defined in a Letter of Engagement. A Salary Package will be negotiated depending upon the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. 

Ongoing employment will be contingent upon the achievement of key performance measures and meeting the expectations of the OM.
