Executive / Junior Executive Officer - Branch Operations

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible to execute comprehensive business transformation strategies by analyzing existing processes and implementing innovative changes to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through industry benchmarking and staff training to drive long-term strategic growth and innovation

JOB PROFILE
  • Execute comprehensive business transformation strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
  • Conduct regular study about industry trends and best practices in business transformation to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate technology solutions (software, tools, and systems) to support transformation initiatives.
  • Execute pilot studies for process changes to identify gaps, risks, or non-compliance issues before full- scale implementation.
  • Document process changes, develop performance benchmarks, and continuously monitor progress and measure the success of transformation efforts.

PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Passed GCE (A/L) Examination. Successfully completed G.C.E. A/L. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university or Full or part Professional qualification from AAT, IBSL or SLICM or an equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • 1-3 years working experience in a similar role in a Bank or reputed financial institution will be a distinct advantage.
  • Exposure to computerized accounting application packages.
  • Excellent command of English and Sinhala languages. Ability to speak Tamil will be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent numerical skills, IT skills, and attention to detail.
