Junior Executive - Operations
We are seeking a committed and proactive Junior Executive - Operations to support vessel operations and coordinate with principals, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries from principals and customers and attend to assigned operational activities as directed by the Manager / Assistant Manager.
- Remain on standby on a 24-hour basis to attend to vessel operations and emergency requirements for vessels calling at local and outstation ports. Execute assigned operational duties in accordance with established procedures and operational manuals.
- Follow up on balance payment collection for all handled operations.
- Coordinate with the Disbursement Accounts team on outstanding payments from principals and ensure closure of unfinished jobs after vessel departure.
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in operations, shipping, logistics, or a related role will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
- Strong coordination, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours and be on standby as required by operations.
- Basic documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills.
- Prior exposure to shipping, logistics, or operations-related roles will be an added advantage.
