The Faculty of Engineering at SUIT has more than 90 staff and a growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and committed individual for the post of Assistant Lecturer (Temporary).
Applicants must have a 1st or 2nd class upper honuors four-year bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field or a 1st or 2nd class honours three-year bachelor's degree and a master's degree at SLQF Level 9 equivalent or above in the required specialization.
At least one year of experience in teaching at the undergraduate level or satisfactory industrial experience and evidence of research output is required.
Core duties & responsibilities;
- Conduct lectures and tutorials for undergraduate students.
- Conduct Labs for undergraduate students.
- Maintain the health and safety during lab experiments.
- Provide support to the activities of the department and faculty.
- Conduct research and carry out publications.
