Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Marketing Communications Specialist at MegaPay (Pvt) Ltd. - Pay&Go. The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for managing marketing communications and developing strategic communication plans. Day-to-day tasks include creating and distributing press releases, coordinating public relations activities, and implementing marketing campaigns.
Remunerations: Rs.40,000 to 55,000
Location : Kirulapone, Colombo 05
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication plans aligned with company objectives.
- Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including but not limited to social media, email campaigns, websites, blogs, and press releases.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Manage social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Measure and analyze the performance of marketing communication efforts and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance marketing communication strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience in Marketing Communications and Strategic Communications
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills
- Ability to create and distribute Press Releases
- Experience with Public Relations coordination
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Experience in the payment industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
