As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Product Development Executive to join our team.
This role will work closely with UK-based Account Managers and local apparel manufacturing partners to manage and develop labelling and packaging solutions from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate product development activities for apparel labels, trims, and packaging solutions.
- Work closely with UK Head Office Account Managers to understand client requirements and translate them into product specifications.
- Liaise with apparel manufacturers and suppliers to develop samples, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
- Manage the sampling process, including material sourcing, product testing, and approval stages.
- Ensure all developments meet brand standards, technical specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor development timelines and ensure on-time delivery of samples and bulk production readiness.
- Support cost analysis, supplier coordination, and product feasibility assessments.
- Maintain accurate product development documentation, technical packs, and approval records.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including sourcing, production, and quality to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide proactive communication and updates to UK stakeholders and customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Textiles, Product Development, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in apparel trims, labels, packaging, or garment product development.
- Strong understanding of labeling materials, trims, packaging components, and production processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work with international teams.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple development projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and product development documentation.
