What You'll Bring (Experience)
- Proficiency and experience in scripting and coding using languages such as PowerShell & Python.
- Demonstrable experience in AI technologies, automation, or software development roles.
- Proven track record of delivering technical solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Understanding of APIs, data integration, and workflow automation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and proactive attitude, with excellent priority-setting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience documenting outputs, workflows, and other project materials.
- Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented.
- Familiarity with current and emerging regulatory controls around the use of AI.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in or with ICT Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
- Experience in change management or digital transformation projects.
- Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments.
About Your Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure AI Engineer etc.)
- Certification in coding tools and languages such as Python, PowerShell etc.

Coding & Automations
- Develop and deploy AI-enabled solutions for specific business use cases, ensuring practical, stable and scalable implementations.
- Develop Python or PowerShell scripts for data processing, API integrations, and service orchestratione.
- Design, build, test, and deploy automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power BI) to automate business processes and reporting.
- Develop intelligent bots and virtual agents using the latest technology.
- Stay current on advancements in AI technologies and tools and help evaluate suitability for internal adoption.
- Act as the technical benchmark for automation development practices, setting examples for quality, security, and maintainability.
Process Optimisation & Support
- Support the team to build out the automations program, leveraging the skills and knowledge you bring to the role.
- Assist with the as-built documentation of automation projects, propose automation strategies, and implement approved solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams during the handover of automation tools and agents.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure AI-assisted development is used as a productivity and quality enhancer, with all outputs peer reviewed, tested, and governed in line with internal security and compliance requirements.
- Help establish, maintain, and extend automation frameworks, repositories, and development standards.
- Ensure solutions comply with information security, data privacy, and governance standards.
- Maintain good ticketing hygiene and evidence, suitable for ISO auditing purposes.
