About Us
Our Pawning Centre is a trusted financial services provider located in the heart of Colombo 05, offering gold loans and secure asset-backed lending services with professionalism, transparency, and integrity.
We are looking for a highly responsible and experienced Branch Manager & an Operations Executive to oversee daily operations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the pawning centre
- Assess gold items and determine accurate valuation
- Handle customer transactions and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
- Monitor cash flow, inventory, and gold security
- Supervise staff and maintain high customer service standards
- Drive branch growth and achieve monthly revenue targets
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in pawning, gold valuation, banking, or finance
- Strong knowledge of gold purity testing and valuation methods
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good record-keeping and basic accounting knowledge
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
Preferred
- Previous experience in a pawning centre or financial institution
- Familiarity with Sri Lankan financial compliance regulations
- Sinhala & Tamil language skills (English is an advantage)
