We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in full stack development, particularly in Java and React. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable web applications and services. While your primary focus will be on Java and React, experience with Ruby is a significant advantage and will allow you to contribute to our diverse technology stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex, scalable web applications and services using Java and React.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into high-quality, reliable software solutions.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and monitoring.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of quality and continuous learning.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring the technical direction aligns with business goals.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve our products.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Java and React.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and related backend technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
- Expertise in React and front-end development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.
- Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Ruby and related frameworks (e.g., Ruby on Rails).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
