Site Supervisor | Anuradhapura
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / NVQ / Certificate in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Building Construction
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site practices
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety (HSE) regulations
- Proven leadership and labor management skills
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, site reports, emails)
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site
- Allocate work and guide workers and subcontractors
- Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Monitor and control the use of materials, tools, and equipment
- Enforce site safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, and documentation
- Coordinate with Engineers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders
- Ensure quality standards are met for all construction works
- Identify site issues, delays, or defects and take corrective actions
- Ensure proper handling and safe use of machinery and equipment
