Elevator & Escalator Technician / Technical Officer
A subsidiary of a group of companies in the construction, industrial services and chemicals sector with over forty years of customer trust, our company is recruiting results-oriented, proactive technicians / technical officers for the Elevator and Escalator division.
Qualifications
- A qualification at NVQ 3/4 level in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in the field is considered a special qualification.
- Experience in elevator installation, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting is an additional qualification.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Ability to use tools and equipment properly
- Ability to visit work sites and carry out work on relevant projects in accordance with the requirements.
- A valid driving license is required. (A heavy vehicle license would be an added advantage).
Job Description
- Installation, maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators.
- Perform mechanical work including train and cabin installation.
- Efficiently identify and resolve faults and breakdowns.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Proper handling and preparation of technical documentation.
