Assistant Manager - Business Development (Dealer Coordinator) | Colombo 14

As an Assistant Manager Business Development (Dealer Coordinator), you will be responsible for driving 2W/3W financing initiatives by identifying and onboarding suitable dealers, conducting training, resolving operational issues, and overseeing dealer performance. You will also manage workflow monitoring, maintain progress reports, and support business decisions through data analysis and reporting. You will report directly to the AGM- Business Development; you will work alongside a dynamic team of professionals in the Non-Banking Financial Services sector. THE JOB ROLE
- Drive strategic product & process development initiatives for 2W/3W financing to enhance efficiency & customer experience.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard dealers based on comprehensive criteria including geographic coverage, business potential, and market reputation.
- Design and deliver structured training programs to ensure newly on boarded dealers are fully equipped with product knowledge and operational processes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for dealers, providing prompt and effective solutions to operational, system, and process-related challenges.
- Maintain accurate onboarding progress reports & develop performance dashboards to track dealer engagement & productivity.
- Oversee end-to-end workflow management for 2W/3W financing through the Fintrex Hub platform, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
- Prepare and present detailed analytical and statistical reports to support strategic decision-making for the Micro Lending business.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification in Marketing, Accounting, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent discipline from a recognized university or institute.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Banking / Finance industry.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of dealer networks and industry dynamics.
- Solid knowledge of KYC, documentation requirements, and onboarding procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel / Power BI.
- Ability to perform effectively and adhere to strict deadlines.
