Assistant Technical Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide the underwriting and claims operations related to the assigned branches, covering both motor and non-motor segments
- Ensuring relevant procedures of underwriting formalities are done in accordance with guidelines laid down by the company
- Processing of claims and relevant documentation as per the company guidelines
- Liaising with customers regarding technical aspects as and when necessary
- Stay abreast of insurance industry standards, policies, changes and procedures
- Assisting the sales force regarding technical aspects when necessary
Required Qualifications/Skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity
- Sound educational background with GCE A/L
- Diploma in Insurance or Bachelor's degree or Part qualifications in CII or equivalent will give you an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of English & Sinhala, both written and oral
- Attention to detail and confidence to work independently, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
