Accounts Executive | Negombo
Location: Negombo
Rex Industries is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our team. Candidates living in or around Negombo will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ledger entries
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions
- Assist in bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
- Support audit processes with required schedules and documents
- Assist with VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements
- Chartered Intermediate level/ICASL/ACCA/AAT final qualified
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an audit firm
- Minimum 1 year experience in the corporate sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and reporting
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Candidates living in or around Negombo will be preferred
