Executive – Sales and Marketing
We have an exciting opportunity for Executive – Sales and Marketing at Unimak Private Limited, founded in 1990 and a leader in metal printing and packaging, specializing in high-quality metal closures and cans for food and general packaging. Guided by our vision to lead Sri Lanka’s metal printing and packaging industry and emerge as a global player, we are committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales of metal closures, cans, and specialty containers locally and internationally.
- Manage client relationships and explore new business opportunities.
- Prepare proposals and deliver sales presentations.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with production and logistics to meet client needs.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and events.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Support marketing efforts, including digital campaigns and brand promotion.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales or Marketing (manufacturing, packaging, or FMCG experience preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an added advantage).
- Proactive, customer-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally overseas, as required.
