Finance Junior Executive / Executive | Malabe
Candidate Requirements
- Fully or partly qualified in CIMA / ACCA / ICASL
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Academic Performance:
- GPA 3.00 – 3.30: Second Class Lower
- GPA 3.30 – 3.70: Second Class Upper
- GPA 3.70 and above: First Class (Preferred)
Experience:
- 6 months to 1 ,2 years of experience in a similar role, including exposure to audits
- Prior experience with a firm of Chartered Accountants is an added advantage
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Solid understanding of financial statements and their preparation
- Experience in VAT/SVAT and taxation
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliations
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or an ERP system
Key Competencies:
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive financial data
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in both English and Sinhala
