Accountant
We are seeking dynamic, driven, and highly organized individuals to join our luxury boutique hotel team. If you have a passion for excellence and a proven track record in the hospitality industry, we want to hear from you.r further information.
Qualification Required
- A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Full or partial qualification from a recognized accounting body (e.g., ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, AAT, IAB, IFA).
- Knowledge of accounting software such as SUN, OPERA and MICROS.
- Familiar with Sun System accounting software is highly preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong time management capabilities and the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a hotel finance department, specifically at a senior management level.
Responsibilities:
- Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping up to final accounts, general ledger, and bank reconciliations; managing petty cash and payroll; assisting with costing and liaising with auditors, the IRD, and government authorities.
- Preparing monthly management reports and ad hoc reports.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to meet strict deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Analyze and post journals; produce data analysis and reports.
- Committed to working long hours to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
