POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Japanese Language Lecture to join our Academic Affairs Division at our Kandy branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality Japanese language instruction, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in their academic and career goals.
Job Requirements:
Educational Qualifications -
- A recognized degree in Japanese language such as Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Japanese, BA (Hons) in Japanese, etc.
Teaching Experience -
- Prior experience in teaching the Japanese language to students of different age groups.
- Familiar with IroDori Japanese for life textbooks.
- Communication and Interpersonal
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to be patient, empathetic, and establish rapport with students.
Language Proficiency
- Excellent command of the Japanese language, with fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Japanese Language Proficiency level N3 and above
Flexibility -
- Ability to conduct physical classes.
- Flexible teaching approach, with the ability to adapt and modify course materials according to the learning pace and needs of students.
Job Responsibilities:
Lesson Planning and Curriculum Alignment -
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Japanese language curriculum.
- Ensure lesson plans meet educational standards and objectives.
Classroom Environment -
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning.
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
Student Assessment and Feedback -
- Provide regular feedback and assessments to students to track their progress.
- Develop and administer quizzes, tests, and assignments to evaluate student comprehension.
