Join our ICT team as a Senior Network & Security Engineer and play a key role in maintaining and securing the organisation's enterprise network infrastructure. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical expertise in network operations, cybersecurity and managed services.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure, troubleshoot and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network switches.
- Manage and maintain firewall configurations, security policies and network security controls.
- Implement and support network security protocols, including IPSec and SSL/TLS.
- Perform log monitoring and analysis using EventLog Analyzer.
- Manage wireless infrastructure, including Meraki and Aruba solutions.
- Administer patch management using Endpoint Central.
- Maintain DNS records, including A, CNAME and MX records.
- Manage SSL certificates and ensure timely renewals.
- Provide operational support to ensure the stability, availability and security of the network environment.
Candidate Profile
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
- Two to five years' industry experience in network and security operations.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking technologies.
- Hands-on experience in firewall configuration and management.
- A good understanding of network security protocols, including IPSec and SSL/TLS.
- Experience with EventLog Analyzer, Meraki, Aruba, Endpoint Central, DNS management and SSL certificate administration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
