A fast-growing FinTech company in Sri Lanka is building a high-performance collections team and is seeking driven, target-oriented Collection Specialists to join us.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact customers via phone calls,SMS, WhatsApp, and email to follow up on overdue payments
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and restructuring options with customers
- Handle delinquent accounts and apply appropriate collection strategies to maximize recovery
- Maintain professional communication while ensuring strong customer relationship management
- Review loan details, repayment history, and account status to determine optimal follow-up actions
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, commitments, and payment updates in the system
- Work closely with internal risk, operations, and customer service-teams to improve recovery performance
- Achieve monthly collection and recovery targets assigned by the company
Requirements
- Prior experience in Debt Collection, Telecalling, Customer Service, Sales, or Financial Services preferred
- Strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion skills
- Comfortable handling rejection and difficult customer conversations
- Target-driven mindset with strong motivation for performance-based income
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve monthly recovery KPIs
- Basic understanding of loans, instalments, and overdue accounts
- Fluent in Sinhala or Tamil(English is a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Business / related field is an advantage (not mandatory for experienced candidates)
