Executive - Card & Digital Payments
About the Role:
LB Finance PLC continues to lead Sri Lanka’s digital financial services journey through innovation, security, and customer-first solutions. As part of our expanding digital payments footprint, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive – Card & Digital Payments to strengthen our Card Management and Payment platforms. This role is central to ensuring seamless card operations, supporting modern payment channels, and enabling future-ready innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Card Management Systems (CMS), Transaction Switches, ATM/POS acquiring and issuing systems, and digital payment platforms to ensure high availability and operational excellence.
- Coordinate with payment networks, vendors, and internal stakeholders for system enhancements, software upgrades, certifications, and issue resolution.
- Support the implementation of new digital payment initiatives, including card products, QR payments, NFC, mobile wallets, and other emerging payment technologies.
- Participate in system integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployments, and post-implementation verification.
- Analyze transaction trends, prepare operational reports, and recommend service improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, including digital payments, blockchain, tokenization, and other next-generation payment innovations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years’ experience in card management systems, payment switch operations, digital banking, ATM/POS systems, or electronic payment platforms.
- Strong understanding of electronic payment ecosystems (Credit/Debit Cards, ATMs, POS, QR, NFC, wallets).
- Experience in vendor coordination, production support, incident management, and system troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL or similar), SQL, Linux, APIs, and monitoring tools will be an added advantage.
