Quantity Surveyor (QS)
Qualifications
- HND in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Civil Engineering (QS specialization)
- 2-3 years' QS experience in construction, MEP or fire protection industry
- Experience in BOQS, cost estimation & tender documentation
- Strong knowledge of contract administration & project cost control
- Experience with valuations, variations, claims & final accounts
- Exposure to commercial/industrial/infrastructure projects preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of QS principles & construction contracts
- Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates & budgets
- Good negotiation & analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office & QS software (CostX/CANDY/AutoCAD advantage)
- Ability to read architectural, structural, electrical & mechanical drawings
- Strong communication, reporting & interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
- Teamwork & coordination skills
- Fire protection/MEP project experience is an advantage
