Receptionist (Full Time)
Join one of Colombo’s top dental clinics and be the warm, confident face patients remember. We’re hiring a receptionist who brings kindness, efficiency, and calm to every visit.
What you’ll do
- Welcome patients with a warm smile and reassuring presence.
- Manage the reception area to ensure patient comfort; offer tea/coffee and friendly conversation.
- Handle appointment bookings, update schedules, and inform patients promptly of any time changes so they don’t wait unnecessarily.
- Calm and reassure worried patients, inspire confidence in our care, and build strong patient relationships.
- Work closely with doctors and nursing staff to understand and support clinic workflows.
- Use computers for scheduling, record-keeping, and patient communication; collect online feedback (Google/Facebook reviews) when appropriate.
- Maintain a tidy, professional reception area and support day-to-day administrative tasks.
Who we’re looking for
- Possible graduates preferred. age 20-60
- Fluent in English; fluency in Sinhala and Tamil is a strong advantage.
- Computer literate with ability to work confidently on scheduling and office software.
- Friendly, patient-focused, calm under pressure, and great at communication.
- Previous experience as an executive secretary or in a similar front-desk role is an advantage.
- Prefer candidates living close to 493 Havelock Road, Colombo 6. transportation provided if working past 9pm.
Hours & pay
- Monday to Friday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:45 AM – 3:30 PM
- Sunday and Poya days off
- Some days may extend to 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM; overtime paid at 50% additional.
