Stores Manager

With our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, we are committed to excellence. We are seeking a dynamic, technically proficient Stores Manager to join our team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our plant's stores and warehouse operations. This includes maintaining critical inventory levels for raw materials, packing materials, and technical spare parts while ensuring a safe, organized, and high-efficiency environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain optimal stock levels of packing materials and spare parts; implement FIFO/FEFO practices to minimize wastage.
- Oversee the safe operation of heavy handling equipment (forklifts, conveyors, loaders).
- Manage GRNs, issue slips, and material return notes.
- Ensure 100% compliance with ISO standards and government regulations.
- Utilize ERP systems to monitor stock, generate daily/weekly inventory reports, and identify non-moving or obsolete items.
- Work closely with Procurement, Production, and Maintenance departments to prevent stock-outs and manage overstock scenarios.
- Enforce strict PPE usage, conduct safety training, and manage hazardous material handling and fire safety protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Material Management.
- Minimum 5+ years of managerial experience in stores/warehousing, preferably within the cement, steel, or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience is a distinct advantage).
- Deep understanding of industrial spare parts, excellent leadership skills, and a "Safety First" mindset.
