About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Analyst & Accounts Executive to drive financial visibility and support strategic decision-making. This role requires someone who can go beyond numbers translating financial data into actionable business insights to improve performance, profitability, and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Tracking & Daily Visibility
- Track daily sales, revenue, and cash inflow/outflow
- Maintain real-time financial dashboards
- Monitor cash balances (on hand and bank accounts)
Business Performance Analysis
- Analyze daily sales trends, customer flow, and revenue patterns
- Identify best-performing products/services and underperforming areas
- Provide insights to improve business performance
Profitability & Margin Analysis
- Calculate gross margin, net profit margin, and expense-to-revenue ratios
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and inefficiencies
- Recommend pricing strategies and margin improvements
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare monthly and growth budgets
- Forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow
- Support strategic financial planning
P&L & Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements
- Develop clear financial summaries and dashboards
- Present insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership
Payables & Receivables Management
- Track accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely collections and payments
- Maintain healthy cash flow and reduce delays
Expense Control & Categorization
- Track and categorize all expenses accurately
- Identify unnecessary spending
- Recommend cost optimization strategies
Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts
- Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, EPF/ETF requirements
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Business Analysis
- Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial tools/dashboarding
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to present data clearly and support decision-making
