Junior Executive -Invoicing
McLarens Group is now seeking an aspiring, energetic, and competent individual to join its subsidiary company, Spectra Logistics (Pvt) Limited. Spectra is one of Sri Lanka's leading providers of end-to-end logistics services encompassing contract logistics, container depot, integrated transportation, and customs brokerage. We meet our customers' logistics and supply chain needs through a combination of our operational and service excellence and our extensive resources, which include the Spectra Distribution Center at the Spectra Logistics Park in Wattala and a well-equipped container yard with our own vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and issue accurate invoices to clients based on sales orders, ensuring zero errors and no delays in invoicing.
- Gather billing data from relevant departments (sales, delivery, logistics), verify accuracy
- before final submission, and maintain a zero default/error rate.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed and accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial reports.
- Track outstanding balances and proactively follow up on overdue payments.
- Identify inefficiencies in billing cycles and suggest process improvements.
- Coordinate invoice delivery and ensure timely submission of month-end invoices.
Skills and Experience Required
- Part qualification from a recognized accounting body is an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in invoicing related to warehousing operation.
