Audit Trainee

The position holder will be expected to support audit teams in conducting accurate and efficient audits, ensuring compliance with company procedures and enhancing internal controls through effective evidence collection, analysis, and documentation
Job Profile
- Assist in planning and executing branch, functional, and process audits.
- Perform field verification of inventory, cash, and customer accounts.
- Collect, analyse, and document audit evidence in line with company procedures.
- Prepare working papers and draft audit observations for review.
- Support special investigations and follow-up audits when required.
- Support the effective implementation of employee engagement activities.
Personal Profile
- Following CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA/CMA or a recognized Accounting/Finance degree.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel across the island for audit assignments.
- A positive attitude with integrity and attention to detail.
