The Faculty of Computing of Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology is the home of more than 190 academic staff and an ever-growing cohort of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The faculty offers a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and encourages a rich research culture. In addition to bachelor's and course-work based master's programs, the Faculty of Computing offers MPhil and PhD degree programs as well.
- Applicants must have a 1st or 2nd class upper honors four-year bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
- Machine Learning
- Experience in teaching at the undergraduate level or satisfactory industrial experience with evidence of research will be an added qualification.
Core duties & responsibilities;
- Engage in undergraduate teaching.
- Prepare, conduct, and assess undergraduate laboratories and tutorials.
- Engage in activities organized by the department/Faculty.
- Conduct research and publish in reputed journals and conferences.
